A product in 8Manage is primarily defined by a product id, name, type and description. However, the following information can be added to further describe the product or service:

• Product images
• Product family and sub-family
• Product brand
• Product model
• Product license
• Units of measure and related conversions
• Manufacturers & suppliers
• Product shipment method
• Attachments

The following information can be added to describe the inventory and back order of the product:

• Maximum/minimum inventory level
• Safety stock level
• Minimum order quantity/amount
• Economical order quantity

The following information can be added to describe the sales and purchasing pricing of the product or service:

Sales Pricing

• List unit price
• List price discount
• Final unit price
• Final price discount
• Quote price maximum deviation %

Purchasing Pricing

• List unit price
• Benchmark unit price
• Final unit price
• Final price discount

Distribution, export, and import of product data

The product definition can be created or imported from Excel or external systems.
